More than just a business blog…
Your free blog site on PDXchat.com can be much more…It can be your company website too.
New Businesses Need A New Website
In today’s market, every business must have a website that communicates more than just your operating hours and contact info. American consumers have numerous choices that are only a FedEx truck away. Your customers don’t use telephone books any longer, they use Google, Yahoo and Bing. If your business can not be found there, then your chances are slim.
Business Networking with out the Drive
Every week you can find me at the East Portland Chamber of Commerce, BRIDGES Clackamas and BRIDGES Vancouver spending quality time business networking. You can also find me online networking on Facebook, LinkedIN, and, of course, PDXchat.com. Sorry for the shameless plug!
I created PDXchat.com to be an online networking community for all my friends (known and, as of yet, unknown). I have always felt the local chamber meetings lack something, but I struggled to put my finger on what it was. After an experiment with a couple other online networking ventures I found myself writing the business model for this site. Give them a FREE blog site, help business grow and market themselves on Google and I will never again want for more business.
I invite each of you to get involved by creating new discussion groups, business blogs and building a large follow of friends. Invite your business acquaintance to join PDX Chat and encourage them to do the same. Before long, this community will be several times larger than all the Chamber of Commerce groups combined.
PDX Chat will never replace face-to-face business networking, rather become a central gathering point of valuable product and service info and a place where folks go to get known.
This is your community and it can become anything you want it to be. In the mean time, EVERYTHING you publish on your PDXchat.com website will be index by the search engines and will help to drive more traffic to your doors.
